January always begins in the same way: with resolutions and new
plans.
This year will be better. I will be both easier and more demanding
on myself than before. Christmas ham and chocolates will be a
memory shed on the gym’s changing room floor. My heart rate monitor
screams at me to slow down. You can’t burn fat by punishing your
