new potatoes
green asparagus
soused (matjes) herring fillets
butter
chive
lemon juice
black pepper
toast
one clove garlic
olive oil
Cook the potatoes and mash them with fork. Cook also the asparagus, cut it smaller and mix with the potatoes. Melt some butter and add to the potatoes together with chopped herring and much chive. Season with lemon juice and black pepper.
Portion out in glasses. Roast the toast, spread mashed garlic on top and season with some olive oil. Garnish with cooked mini asparagus.
Serve as appetizer.
