Stockmann in Russia
Stockmann started operations in Russia in Moscow in 1989.
Currently there are four Stockmann department stores in Moscow. The department store in Mega Shopping Centres Tepliy Stan and Khimki were opened in 2004, the one in Mega Belaya Dacha in February 2007. The fourth department store in Moscow was opened in the Metropolis Shopping Centre in February 2009. There is also Stockmann Outlet shop in Moscow at 73 Leninskiy Prospect. March 4 2010 a new Stockmann department store has opened in the entertainment and shopping centre Golden Babylon in Moscow.
In St. Petersburg there is currently a fashion boutique at 25 Nevsky Prospect. The new department store that is being built in St. Petersburg at 114 Nevsky Prospect is due to open in 2010.
Stockmann's fashion chains Seppälä and Lindex have several shops in Russia. Stockmann also operates Bestseller shops in Russia on franchising basis.
