Principles of the Loyal Customer Programme

In these terms and conditions, the Loyal Customer Programme refers to Stockmann AS’s Loyal Customer Programme in Estonia and “ Loyal Customer” refers to a private individual who participates in this programme. Stockmann’s Loyal Customers receive product and service benefits from the Stockmann department stores, many units belonging to the Stockmann Group and from Stockmann’s partners.

Becoming a Loyal Customer and Loyal Customer Cards

Any Estonian citizen or person domiciled in Estonia who is at least 15 years old may become Stockmann’s Loyal Customer, but to become Stockmann MasterCard holder Estonian citizen or person domiciled in Estonia must be at least 18 years old. An individual becomes Loyal Customer by applying for a Stockmann MasterCard credit card or a Stockmann cash card. A Loyal Customer may apply for additional cards for individuals named by him/her. The holder of the additional card is also a Loyal Customer of Stockmann and he/she accepts the terms and conditions of Stockmann’s Loyal Customer programme when applying for the card. An application for an additional card may be made for anyone over the age of 12.

Stockmann is entitled to offer certain Loyal Customer benefits only to the main cardholder. An individual who satisfies the credit rating conditions set by Nordea Bank Finland PLC Estonian branch, which grants the financing, may receive the Stockmann MasterCard. The customer must accept the separate terms and conditions and product description connected to the Stockmann MasterCard. Stockmann reserves the right to unilaterally modify and update at any time and without notice the terms and conditions of the Loyal Customer programme in connection with the development and improvement of the Loyal Customer Programme.

An application to become a Loyal Customer is submitted in writing to a Stockmann department store or another unit of the Stockmann Group. The application may be submitted also through Stockmann’s Internet website. The customer must always provide all the requested basic information depending on the type of card in question. The information in the application will be treated as confidential.

Methods of payment when registering Loyal Customer Card

Stockmann’s Loyal Customer Cards may be registered in connection with a purchase transaction. If purchases are not registered with the Loyal Customer Card upon the transaction, Stockmann is not obliged to register these purchases at a later time.

Processing of customer data and marketing

Stockmann will process personal data pursuant to the legislation currently in force in Estonia. Stockmann processes data in the Loyal Customer register when managing customer accounts and when marketing products and services to customers. The data may also be used in the marketing of benefits and products to loyal customers of Stockmann’s partners, unless the customer has explicitly prohibited such marketing.
Registered data is not released for use outside Stockmann’s Loyal Customer Programme. A registry description of the Loyal Customer Programme is available at the Loyal Customer service points as well as on the Internet www.stockmann.ee.

The data in the register is based on data provided by the customer to Stockmann at the application stage or any time afterwards. The customer’s purchases registered with the Loyal Customer Card are also recorded in the register for the purpose of calculating various accruals and enabling more accurate targeting of direct marketing. Stockmann may regularly send to the Loyal Customers, at their home addresses in Estonia, information on benefits and discounts for Loyal Customers. Stockmann is also entitled to direct a part of the marketing and benefits for Loyal Customers only to the main cardholders.

Loyal Customers have the right to prohibit the use of their contact data for direct marketing purposes by notifying the Loyal Customer service of a Stockmann department store. The prohibition on direct marketing is specific to one individual.

Cancellation of Loyal Customer status

Loyal Customers are entitled to cancel their Stockmann Loyal Customer status by notifying Stockmann’s Loyal Customer service via telephone or in writing. Stockmann is entitled to cancel a customer’ s Loyal Customer status in case of the customer’s misconduct.

Other terms and conditions

The card is valid until the expiry date indicated on the card. Stockmann renews the card automatically. The cards are personal and may only be used by the person whose name is written on the card. Stockmann’s Loyal Customer service must be informed of any changes in personal data or the billing address.
