The idea of the Chinese broth fondue corresponds to the
traditional meat fondue, but the ingredients are cooked in a good
broth. There exists a special container for Chinese fondue – the
HotPot – which looks like a ring mould. A small sieve is set for
each diner, which is used to cook the portion. At the end of the
meal, the diners drink the broth.
Often, Chinese fondue contains both fish and meat, shellfish,
vegetables, and precooked noodles.
